Homefirst created the Family Success Center as a community-led, strength-based initiative that has grown out of a 25-year presence and depth of experience partnering with and serving the Plainfield community. Soon thereafter, the Youth Success Center was created as a rich environment bringing together family, youth and community with the goal of supporting and assisting youth in their transition to adulthood. Together, both Success Centers utilize the strength-based practices of the Positive Youth Development framework in conjunction with Strengthening Families Protective Factors. The overarching goal is to foster a community-based, family-centered, neighborhood gathering place where any community resident can go for family support, information and services as follows:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
