Maria came to the Plainfield Family Support Center to pick up her monthly donation of food and other items for her children. During this trying time, she battled the difficulty of finding employment without the means to care for her two children on her own. Alas, good fortune was around the corner. While Maria was diligently working to rise above this hardship, she was happy to report that she passed her citizenship exam. To continue the good news, she also passed her exam to obtain her driving permit. With her citizenship in tow, Maria, with the support of the Plainfield Support Center, has opened doors and created new opportunities for her family.
