The Hillside Family Success Center & The Hillside Public Library Present: American Girl Author DENISE LEWIS PATRICK. Award winning author, Denise Lewis Patrick has written ten children’s and young adult books, five of which are from the American Girl series. In addition to being a published author, Denise is an adjunct Professor of Writing at a local college. She’s also worked with budding writers in an afterschool program, and has managed middle and high school writing programs.
