Meet Ms. Denise, age 51. Follow her journey as she shares how she went from a shelter to stable living. At a young age, Ms. Denise remembers leaving her home to start a life in the city of Elizabeth. Life on her own proved to be difficult so she sought shelter at the YMCA.
Wine and Dine is a fundraiser that will provide direct financial assistance to families in need.
For more than 30 years, Homefirst has championed the cause of affordable housing and advocated valiantly for families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our goal has been to make sure they have a place where they can feel they belong.
We were honored to share this special day with all the deserving Moms to let her know how much she's loved and appreciated. Mothers and their families were treated to brunch at the Homefirst Family Support Center and all Moms received a basket of pampering gift items.
