Housing
Interfaith Hospitality Network
Emergency temporary shelter for homeless women and families with children.
Transitional Housing
A longer term solution for qualifying families leaving the Interfaith Hospitality Network. Transitional homes provide a stable, supportive environment for one year while the family prepares to move into an apartment or Homefirst permanent supportive housing. Homefirst owns 6 transitional units in 3 locations.
Permanent Supportive Housing
Homefirst purchases and renovates single and multi-family houses and condos to create permanent homes for low-income men, women and families at-risk of homelessness and affected by domestic violence, HIV/AIDS or other disability. Residents become part of the Homefirst community, receiving long-term rental assistance and case management. There are currently 31 completed and occupied housing units and four more are in planning or renovation phases for 2006.
